VocaDo is a practice tool your clinician gives you. These terms set out what it is, what it is not, and what each of us is responsible for.
VocaDo is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything. It records and measures your voice so that you and your clinician can see how it changes over time. It does not tell you what is wrong with you, it does not replace an examination, and no decision about your care should rest on it alone.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number. VocaDo is not monitored, nobody is watching it in real time, and a message written in the app will not reach anyone quickly.
VocaDo is provided by VocaVibe LTD, registered in Israel. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean VocaVibe; "you" means the person using the app.
By using VocaDo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app and tell your clinician.
VocaDo is a voice and speech rehabilitation practice app. It gives you the exercises your clinician has assigned, records you while you do them, measures qualities of your voice such as loudness, pitch, clarity and steadiness, shows you feedback while you speak, and shares the results with your clinician.
It is a tool for practising and for measuring. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment decision, and not a substitute for professional care.
Your clinician decides what you practise, how often, and what your results mean. They are responsible for your clinical care; we are responsible for the software working as described.
Measurements are affected by your phone, the room, how far you hold the device and background noise. They are most useful compared against your own earlier recordings, not against other people. Your clinician knows this and reads them accordingly.
Please do not:
The companion is a conversation partner powered by a language model. Talking to it is speech practice โ the point is that you speak, not that it advises you.
We try to keep VocaDo working, but we do not promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change features, pause the service for maintenance, or stop offering it. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice through the app or your clinic.
We own the app, its design, the VocaDo and VocaVibe names and marks, and the methods behind the measurements. You get permission to use the app for your own rehabilitation, and nothing more.
Your recordings remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them in order to provide the service and to share them with your clinic, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use them for anything else without asking you separately.
How we handle your recordings and health information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can ask us to delete your data at any time through the deletion request page.
You can stop using VocaDo whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. Your clinic may also end your access โ for example when your treatment plan finishes. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken, or if we must in order to protect other users.
Your clinic may keep your records as part of your clinical file even after your access ends, where they are required to.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that: VocaDo is provided as it is. We do not promise the measurements are clinically accurate for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of them, or for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of the place you live.
